Happy November, Chobots!

Wow, what a month it has been! October was full of events, parties, contests and updates, and the world is now officially in Autumn mode, but first, let's start with the Halloween event, of course!

The First Halloween on Chobots!

The first Halloween event on Chobots was a MAJOR success! A lot of people came with their costumes, new players joined, a lot of candy was collected, there were a lot of parties, especially on Halloween Day, where the Team Members performed special magic and rained items!

The Candy Meter has been filled and the Community Goal of 1.5 million candies was reached, with every participant receiving special rewards and the world gaining special effects. We also got a surprise visit from Chopix himself, who gave away a unique background! Check it out.

Besides the crazy parties, we also had events held by Team Members, like Hangman and Pictionary, and some players even got rewards like a Pumpkin Rosette and Bugs!

Chopix's Candy Cart also got many new cool items to buy with Candies!

There were also two Halloween-related contests happening - a Pumpkin Carving contest and a Drawing Contest! The winners were announced and the prizes were given out.

Besides the awesome Halloween event, we also got some great updates & improvements to the world of Chobots! Let's check them out.

Updates & Improvements!

The Style Studio has received a major overhaul, and now when you click on the Outfits button, you'll be greeted with a new & much easier to navigate UI, and from it you will be able to wear your saved outfits, save more outfits, change the colors of your items and enter the Market.

The Art Wall has received a new UI, got many bugs squished, and you can now report inappropriate art, but the most exciting part - we we now have our own Game Wall, on which you'll be able to play Hangman, Draw & Guess and Tic-Tac-Toe with other players! You also get Bugs from the games! How cool is that!?

Welcome to Chollywood!

• The Cinema has received a major upgrade, and you can now watch videos from the built-in playlist with your friends & you can ask the Team Members for a YouTube video to show, and if it is approved, they will show it!
• When something is playing, the lights will go dark and colors from the video appear in the room.
• You can also react to what's playing with Clap, Laugh, Wow, Love or Dance, and special effects occur when some players react together!
• A full-screen popup is also available for an even more immersive viewing experience!

At the Cinema, you'll be able watch videos made on Chobots, either by the Team Members themselves or by other players! And guess what? If you made a video on Chobots, you can submit it to the Team, and if it ends up showing there, you'll get 500 Bugs and a Video Camera! How exciting!

Choproff Needs Your Help!

The Halloween event is over, but after all the partying, the world looks like a mess, and Choproff needs YOUR help raking the leaves and collecting pumpkins and candy wrappers! Talk to Choproff at the Academy Street, help clean the city and get rewarded!

Finish every day's task and gain a Stamp for each day completed. Eventually, the stamps will count towards rewards, and the more players help with the cleaning, the faster we will progress with Choproff's quest, so let's get going!

Other Changes & Improvements!

• Many items now have unique Effects and Emotes! With some hovering items, like Jetpacks and the Chopper Motorcycle, you can now see an ignition effect and overall better moving effects. But that's not all! Many other items gained effects and emotes as well! For example, the Super Suit gained the ability to hover and fly around, and the UFO gained the ability to also fly and abduct other players! Even smaller items like the Toy Bear have a cool Emote! To try it out, click on Emote! and then on Moves.
• The Premium Shop has received a major overhaul, and it's not easier to browse & buy items, view bundles & items that are leaving soon and it also has Gift Cards now! You can buy them for friends or family or as prizes in competitions! There is also has a fundraiser to help the Neepawa Bird Sanctuary in Canada, and you also get a special item for donating! • Contests have received their own page, and you can see current contests happening in the world of Chobots, whether they are in-game contests or creative contests like Video Making or Drawing. You'll also be able to view the prizes and the winners of the contests. There's also an Invite Contest going on right now & a Chess Tournament is also coming up, so make sure to check it out at contest.chobots.net!

WOW, what a month for Chobots! Everything was so fun - from the events & parties to the contests and candy collecting, and it was so good seeing everybody online & celebrating Halloween in their costumes! The Team also has even bigger plans for the upcoming Holiday event in December, and I personally can't wait! ⛄
