The Cho Byte

It's been a few days since Chobots launched and the Halloween event began, and since then, more players have joined the game and started collecting candies with others. There's a new game (Candy Catch), a new quest, and much more, but the team has been working on fixing a lot of bugs & issues and improving the overall experience of the game for us. You can read about the recent bug fixes on the Chobots Community Blog, but let's get into the most exciting updates!

New Premium Items!

There's now a limited Halloween bundle on the Premium Shop, which includes a Halloween-themed Chat Bubble, Player Card and Nameplate! It costs $10.50, and it is available until November 1st. A cool Toad Wizard Hat is also now available for $3.50, $3 for Cosmonauts. All of these items are available until November 1st, so be quick!

Better Language Support!

This is a big change!

The game's chat now includes a built-in translator, which can translate between English, Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Russian and Ukrainian, with Chinese now also available as the game's language as well! You can manage the settings for this by clicking on Menu > Translation.

First-time players from Canada will now receive a prompt asking whether they'd like to use English or French, same for the first-time players from China.

The Best Candy Collectors!

The Leaderboards now show the best candy collectors! On the home page, navigate to the bottom of the page and click on Leaderboards, or Community > Leaderboards.

Remember that you can exchange your candy for some sweet Halloween-themed items! Go ask Chopix, he's inside the Cafe.

Anyone Can Now Blog!

Starting now, anyone can create their own blog using Chobots' own special blogging system, Chobots Blogs. Just visit the Chobots Blogs website, login with your Chobots account, and you'll be able to start your own blog. This includes designing the blog, adding a splash of your own personality to it, posting, and more! This feature is brand new, so take note. The Cho Byte was also selected as a featured blog on the Spotlight! Neat!

Your blog could also be featured, and not only that, your blog could also be chosen to become a Journalist blog! This means that if your blog is chosen, it gets featured with a Journalist badge on the front page, and you also get the badge on your player card in-game! You can learn more about this on the Chobots Blogs website.

Other Changes & Improvements

All bugs fixes and improvements are listen on the official Chobots Community Blog, but there are some more interesting changes and improvements made:

• The Chobots website has a new design on mobile, and playing the game on mobile should overall feel smoother and more stable.
• Chobots is now on TikTok and YouTube, and there are new videos live!
• The Halloween NPCs no longer just stay in place, they now roam the world!
